Already Been Chewed was founded by digital artist, Barton Damer, and celebrates the influence and inspiration of great design in culture.

As a kid, Barton grew up drawing Tony Hawk skulls and tracing drawings from the legendary, Andy Howell. Barton has always been inspired by music, skateboarding, and his faith. He has been blessed to combine all those elements into his design career over the years. His clients range anywhere from killer bands like Wolfmother to the pop sensation, Owl City. He works with skateboard brands including DGK, Expedition, Organika and Gold wheels. He’s been privileged to create media for some great faith-based organizations like Integrity Music, Catalyst, Lifeway, and Igniter to create high quality media. His work is diversified among the skateboard, music, and faith-based industries making for a very unique combination that is right in line with his passions.

In 2009, Barton was awarded the Digital Artist of the year award by Computer Arts, Intel, and 3d World Magazine. He has written many tutorials as well as traveled and taught at various design and media conferences. His skills include traditional drawing, graphic design, illustration, and motion design. Barton married to his high school sweetheart, Sandra Damer, and has 3 kids. He has been skateboarding since he first saw Back To The Future. Barton has blown out both of his knees while skateboarding (but still can’t quit).
