I walked into a used book store Friday night killing a few minutes before meeting my wife for a date night. I saw a record section and couldn’t believe the # of albums with amazing typography on them. I immediately grabbed my iPhone and started snagging pics of some of my favorite ones. I can’t say for a fact, but I’m pretty sure Photoshop did not exist in the early late 70’s and early 80’s. All these albums must have been long before… not sure if they are done by hand or what. Either way, they are amazing!

The Tomita Planets one is by far my fave. Shaun Cassidy and Zebra are pretty rockin too (no pun intended)…
For sure. I was amazed that all of these were in one store! Really good stuff.
I only recognized the albums by The Firm and Kiss. Oh, and the Captain and Tenille.
Yeah. I'm not familiar with Captain and Tenille but the font is pretty amazing.
Love the top left one! Amazing!

You don't know when Photoshop started being used AND you don't know how typography was done before computers? Are you fucking serious?
There is a lot I don't know. I am always learning. Please share with me how the Kiss logo and all of it's lighting effects were done.. that would be awesome to learn.
Congratulations Roger Wilson, you win the moronic post of the year award.
